How would you describe your photography style?
I'd describe my photography style as a blend of documentary-style and lifestyle photography. I love capturing real-life moments as they naturally unfold, focusing on genuine emotions and interactions. At the same time, I also provide gentle guidance for poses to ensure everyone looks their best while still maintaining that authentic feel.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! Chicago is our home base, but love packing our gear for destination weddings. The base packages do cover travel fees up to 30 miles radius of Chicago, a small travel fee beyond that, and a hotel stay, if the venue is over 3 hours from Chicago.
How do we book you?
To secure your booking, we require a 30% retainer to hold the date. Dates cannot be held without the booking fee and signed contract.
Will there be a second shooter?
My wife doubles as my second shooter. Teamwork makes the dream work, and having her on board ensures we don't miss a beat – or a great shot. It's a fun dynamic that adds a personal touch to our photography sessions. Two lenses, twice the fun!
How many photos will I receive?
All of my packages include unlimited edited high resolution digital images. This means that I deliver a wide variety of the best images from our time together. On average, you can expect about 75-100+ images per hour booked!
How long will it take to get my photos?
I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image, which is why it'll take me a little bit more time to deliver your final images. If you'd like your photos sooner, please ask me about the rush fee. Wedding photos usually take 8 weeks or less, while for other sessions like portraits or events, it will take 4 weeks or less.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive your photos in a digital format. We’ll send you a link via email, which will take you to the online gallery where you can easily share and download all your photos. You can even purchase prints directly from your gallery if you’d like.
We recommend you download the photos and save them to your computer or other devices to ensure you always have access to them!
How do you keep our photos and videos secure?
We use cameras that dual-record, so your photos and videos are saved on two SD cards. When we get home, we upload everything to a hard drive and store the SD cards in a safe place until everything is delivered.
